COMMANDMENT 19 — I AM Confident in who I AM

A Boldly Beautiful woman is not phony, or fake. She doesn’t have to be, because she knows that the person she is both outside and in is the very best person she can be. True beauty comes from that authenticity – from knowing who you are and feeling confident that that person is special, amazing and deserving of good things. And it comes from sharing that beauty and that uniqueness with the rest of the world.
Being confident in who you are means letting go of trying to be something you’re not. Physically, if you’re never going to be model-skinny, stop starving yourself to try to fit into size 2 jeans and allow yourself to be strong and healthy as the person you are. Dress for your body type, wear the colors and styles that make you happy, celebrate what is unique about you every day of your precious life.
The same confidence should apply to who you are on the inside. Don’t be afraid to be heard, to speak your mind, to share your voice. Don’t pretend to like things that you don’t, or believe in things that make no sense to you. What feels natural to you is what is right and true for you. Because you are never more beautiful than you are being yourself.
